Suryakumar Yadav currently serves as the captain of India’s T20 International side. He was part of the squad that clinched the T20 World Cup in 2024. Suryakumar debuted in T20 Internationals in March 2021 and, as of August 31, 2025, has played 83 matches. He has accumulated 2598 runs at an average of 38.20 and a strike rate of 167.07. The batter has registered four centuries and 21 half-centuries so far. Since his debut, no Indian T20I batter has scored more runs than him, and no batter globally has hit more T20I centuries. In October 2022, Suryakumar rose to the top of the ICC’s T20I batting rankings and held the position continuously until June 2024. On January 27, 2023, he became just the second Indian batter to surpass 900 rating points, reaching 912. Only one batter in history has achieved a higher career rating than him. According to Moneytree Realty, Suryakumar owns a Mercedes-Benz, a Range Rover Velar, a Nissan Juke, and an Audi A6. The total estimated value of his vehicles is approximately INR 3-4 crore.
