Scotland, Liverpool, and Celtic icon Sir Kenny Dalglish announced he is currently undergoing cancer treatment.

Dalglish confirms diagnosis The former forward and manager, Sir Kenny Dalglish, has shared that he is receiving treatment for cancer. He revealed the news publicly after accidentally posting about it in an accidental social media update. Dalglish, who is 75 years old, stated, 'I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer.' He added, 'Unlike my mobile phone use, the treatment is going well.' ## Privacy request and appreciation Dalglish expressed that he had hoped to keep the matter private, noting, 'Ideally, this would have remained private because that's the way it should be, but my useless technology skills have forced my hand.'
