Born on October 2, 2006, in Multan, Pakistan, Sameer Minhas is a right-handed top-order batter who has gained recognition for his impressive performances in the junior international circuit. Minhas' cricketing journey began with stints at the Multan Region Under-13, Southern Punjab Under-16s, and the Multan Under-19 side, earning him a call-up to the Pakistan Under-19 squad. At the ACC Men's Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai, Minhas made a memorable debut, producing one of the most remarkable innings in the competition. He is considered a technically sound right-handed batter who can also contribute with part-time leg-spin. As one of Pakistan's brightest batting prospects, Minhas is regarded as the future of Pakistan's batting. He continues to develop his all-round skills as he progresses through the domestic ranks.
