R Ashwin joins San Francisco Unicorns for the 2026 MLC season. This marks his first foray into a T20 franchise outside of the Indian Premier League (IPL). R Ashwin has a 30-year career with 413 wickets in Tests, 102 in ODIs, and 71 in T20 Internationals. Ashwin's expertise with the oval ball has earned him the nickname 'The Carrom Ball Specialist'. The San Francisco Unicorns secured a Top 4 finish in the 2025 MLC season and will challenge for the title in 2026.
