Jordan confirms World Cup squad Jordan have announced their definitive 26-player roster for their maiden World Cup campaign this summer. Coach Jamal Sellami revealed the list, which includes standout forward Mousa Al-Tamari from French club Rennes. Among the selected group, forward Ali Olwan of Al-Sailiya leads the scoring tally. The team is set for their historic debut in the tournament. ## Injury updates and captain selection Captain Ehsan Haddad has been included after making a full recovery from an Achilles injury that kept him sidelined for nearly 12 months. Defender Haddad’s inclusion underscores his importance to the side. However, striker Yazan Al-Naimat remains unavailable due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained at the Arab Cup in December. ## Pre-tournament friendly and group stage fixtures Jordan will play their last warm-up match against Colombia in San Diego on June 7, 2026. Their opening Group J game is against Austria on June 16 in Santa Clara.
