Hearts sweep player awards Hearts striker Claudio Braga has been named the PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year, completing a memorable awards ceremony for the Tynecastle club. A Hearts double also came in the manager category, with Derek McInnes and Eva Olid receiving backing from rival coaches after their teams topped the league standings. Braga contributed 14 goals to help Hearts lead the division, while the Portuguese forward has tallied 17 goals across all competitions since joining from the Norwegian second tier side Aalesund. The 26-year-old secured the top spot in the voting, with teammates Lawrence Shankland, Motherwell duo Tawanda Maswanhise and Elijah Just completing the shortlist. ## Glasgow City star takes SWPL prize Glasgow City’s Nicole Kozlova has claimed the SWPL Player of the Year award. The Canada-born Ukraine international recorded nine goals and five assists before sustaining a serious knee injury two months prior to the ceremony. Despite the setback, her contributions were enough to earn the top individual honour in the women’s league. ## Rangers dominate young player categories Rangers secured a double in the young player categories at the awards night. On-loan Tottenham winger Mikey Moore won the SPFL young player award, while 16-year-old May Cruft claimed the SWPL young player prize. The recognition highlights the club’s focus on developing emerging talent across both men’s and women’s football. ## Lower division winners announced St Johnstone winger Josh McPake, Hamilton Academical striker Oli Shaw, and East Kilbride forward John Robertson were named the lower division winners.
